SDG focus is maturing, but can we keep the momentum in a more volatile world?
Wednesday, 17 January, 2024, 17:30-19:00 CET
ESG and sustainability have risen to the top the agenda of media, stakeholders, and businesses, but will political and economic crisis events hamper the momentum?
This panel will explore how we can advance sustainability action in times of extreme volatility. The panel will explore some of the examples coming from the companies working across the complex sectors and settings. It will also present tangible plans and results of the activities.
We will seek to shed light on:
- How to make sustainability action real in a complex external environment?
- How social engagement and partnerships can advance the sustainability journey in extreme volatility?
- Two thirds of the SDG journey is behind us – are we on or off track?
The below speakers will be participating in this panel, moderated by Leidar:
- Arne Cartridge – Special Adviser, Yara International
- Dr. Thomas Hohne-Sparborth – Head of Sustainability Research, holistiQ Investment Partners
- Sahil Tesfu – Chief Strategy Officer, Essity
- Natalya Yemchenko – Director of Public Relations and Communications, SCM
