Harmonizing Global Carbon Accounting under the COP30 Action Agenda

This private roundtable will focus on what credible, practical outcomes in aligning carbon accounting standards look like by the second Global Stocktake in 2028, and how this will deliver a common, agreed framework for business leaders, investors and policy makers across corporate, product and project-level accounting.

It will in particular explore:

Perspectives from business leaders, investors and policy makers on their needs for harmonised carbon accounting
How best to engage all relevant initiatives to ensure a harmonized agenda, in particular focused on product level accounting
Plans for the establishment of a Leaders Group on Harmonised Carbon Accounting to help shape delivery of the Action Plan mandated by the COP30 Presidency.
