Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights at Work: The New Frontier for ESGs
Tuesday, 16 January, 2024, 15:00-17:00 CET
Approximately 190 million women work in global supply chains concentrated in countries with high unmet needs for women’s health services. Businesses can be a key ally for delivering sexual and reproductive health information and services to millions of women across the world.
This session will focus on the implementation of women’s health and wellbeing in the workplace. Specifically, it will serve to launch the first of their kind, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights metrics for ESG reporting that will measure the impact of reproductive health programmes and services in a company’s day-to-day operations. It will convene business leaders, policymakers, foundations and philanthropic organizations, academia, civil society organizations among others with the goal to discuss the metrics and look at already existing relevant practices from the private sector, including concrete investments towards achieving inclusive workplaces.
