Sustainable Industrial Transition & Nature Regeneration: What It Takes to Scale

Wednesday 21 January 2026 14:45-16:45 CET

NATURE ROOM

Achieving a sustainable industrial transition that actively regenerates nature requires more than ambition – it demands credible data, transformative approaches, aligned incentives, and deployable circular economy solutions at scale. While progress on the energy transition is accelerating, the material and industrial systems that underpin the real economy remain under-transformed and under-capitalised.

This session will explore the critical building blocks needed to move from commitment to implementation. IUCN will highlight the role of robust, decision-grade nature data as a foundation for accountability and impact, while Una Terra and Deutsche Nachhaltigkeit will showcase concrete circular economy investments and industrial transition examples demonstrating how capital, partnerships, and execution can align behind a shared agenda for nature-positive growth.

Together, the discussion will focus on how we can accelerate systemic change by bridging data, finance, and real-economy action.
